29 Faces, Day 18 - Irene

Today would have been my dear mother's 86th birthday. She passed from this life way too early, but her peaceful radiance must have been needed elsewhere....is how I soothe the daily missing of her. I have drawn this portrait from an early photo of her and built a journal page around it to express my deep love for this woman who was the best example of love, compassion and tolerance. Happy Birthday, Mom!
