The Rose in Quotes Illustrated!

I am very proud and happy to announce that my painting "The Rose" has been included in Lesley Riley's new book Quotes Illustrated: 100 works of art inspired by words. I love quotes myself, and keep a large file of them, so when Lesley put out a call to artists for this book, I was immediately drawn in. The day she let me know that my painting was accepted, you couldn't scrape me off the ceiling!So, this Thanksgiving, I give thanks to my drawing and painting teachers, my very supportive husband who ignores the mess on the kitchen counter, and to Lesley Riley for this wonderful opportunity to toot my own horn.
