All You Need Is Love

Following yesterdays "rant", I thought I should spread a little love. I am not naive enough to really think that love is all you need to get by in life. But, yes, I do believe that it really helps. I once attended a talk given by Ray Bradbury where he expounded on the value of love. Ray was wheeled up to the podium and it took him several minutes to be able to rise to his feet and lean forward toward the microphone, one arm held steadily on either side of the lectern. A deep breath was expelled from the speakers and then, "Love. Love is the answer to everything. You must have love in your life." Good old Ray. He passed the very next year and I can't help thinking that he is in a loving place.There has been much written about love; from Shakespeare..."My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite" (from Romeo and Juliet) to Rumi..."I was dead, then alive. Weeping, then laughing. The power of love came into me, and I became fierce like a lion, then tender like the evening star." And then we heard from the Beatles.
