A Woman's Work

Throughout history in this country, it seems that no matter what the circumstances and/or living conditions, a woman was always brought in to do the cooking and laundry. This old photo in a book about Alaska drove that message home and I felt compelled to do some journaling on the subject. Obviously, you cannot read my words...and there's a reason for that!
