Writing on the Wall

I adore the beautiful walls seen on buildings throughout Europe that show traces of historical tales and secrets. Some display the names of streets and others have religious figures painted by an artist's hand. Many are chipped, peeled and otherwise aged, which only enhances their beauty in my view. This time-worn patina is something not often seen in my country (USA) because we tend to demolish old buildings for the sake of modernization. Here, I have made an attempt to recreate a small section of one of those beautiful old walls, complete with graffiti.
