Southern California In Flames

The land and the hearts of Southern Californians are charred beyond recognition. Watching the flames destroy the trees and homes and witnessing the personal turmoil is heartwrenching. Imagine being faced with a ten-minute window to pack up what is important to you in only as many boxes (if you have boxes on hand) as will fit into your vehicle. Now imagine that some people (as my son pointed out) don't even get that ten minutes. The scars will remain for years to come. We thank our local firefighters as well as those who have come from many states and Canada to help us gain control.
